The Research Promotion Foundation announces the Call for Proposals for the «Proof of Concept for Technology / Knowhow Applications» Programme within the framework of the «RESTART 2016-2020» Programmes for Research, Technological Development and Innovation and invites potential beneficiaries to submit relevant Project Proposals (Proposals). The present Call is part of the «Competitiveness and Sustainable Development 2014-2020» Operational Programme and is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Cyprus.
The “Proof of Concept for Technology / Knowhow Applications” Programme aims at the preliminary investigation of possible industrial applications of a technology/knowhow.

SLOA works together with Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM), a non-profit international business school established in 1990 by a group of business leaders and a team of prominent academics representing some of the world’s top business schools. The two organizations plans to presents in the market very useful analytical and supporting tools. The first event organized for the Hotel’s Market at 26th of May in Nicosia.

SLOA cooperates with TOMAS POUTAS International Business Consulting in order to promote its CAP Tain system in China and Russia. CAPTain measures working and achievement style, i.e. the way people solve concrete tasks, deal with fellow members of staff and customers, and the way they behave in a team context. CAPTain meets current scientific and technical standards and has been proven internationally in leading companies. All the proposals submitted by SLOA in the first call for the Enhancement of Youth Entrepreneurship 2015 have taking high rating and are financed by the Republic of Cyprus. The aim of the Scheme is to develop, support and encourage entrepreneurship by young people who, based on their knowledge expertise and talent, will establish a new enterprise. The scheme covers new enterprises of the manufacturing, service or tourism sector, and e-commerce. Emphasis is given in the development of new technologies, in the use of innovative methods of production and promotion of products and services, in the development of environmental friendly products and generally in modern entrepreneurial practices aiming at the creation of a dynamic and competitive unit. The scheme motivates successful applicants by offering them a grand, as a percentage (50%) on the approved budget. The maximum amount of grand is €70,000 for enterprises of the manufacturing sector, and €50,000 for all other activities.
